RUSKINS DREAM

Over 130 years ago John Ruskin and members of the Guild of St George planned to build a museum of Ruskinland Bewdley. Sadly it never was built, but now 100 years after his death a studio has been built at Uncllys Farm, using natural materials including green oak from the Wyre Forrest. The Ruskin Studio was opened in June 2010 by Clive Wilmer of the Guild of St George. Today Uncllys is farmed by Joan and Linda Iles using the ideas and upholding the traditions of Ruskin. The farm includes Dexter cattle, Jacob Sheep, Chicken and rare breed Pigs.
