AVON, SHAKESPEARE'S RIVER
Join Brian Draper M.B.E. as he guides us down the Avon valley from its source near Naseby in Northamptonshire, Naseby was the scene of one of the bloodiest battles of the civil war.

- Evesham including the battle site at Greenhill,
- Fladbury and Cropthorne,
- Wyre Piddle,
- Pershore,
- Eckington Bridge,
- Breedon,
- Strensham and we finish at Tewkesbury where the Avon joins the River Severn.
At Tewkesbury we see the battle of tekesbury in the war of the roses.
